• Sei Whale. They are smaller and more slender than the blue and fin whales. It grows up to 18.5 meters in length and weighs up to 29 tonnes.
• Southern Right Whale. It may reach 18 meters in length and can weigh up to 96 tonnes. Its head, which is decorated with callosities, makes up to a quarter of its total length.
• Humpback Whale. With a skin covered with warts, bumps, and encrusted barnacles, its average length and weight is 13 meters and 31 tonnes.
• Minke Whale. Its average length and weight is 8 meters and 8 tonnes and it lives for about 50 years.

Toothed whales, on the other hand, have sharp teeth that help them catch their prey, such as fish and squid. The kinds of toothed whales that can be found in the Antarctic are the Orca, Southern Bottlenose, Sperm, and Southern Fourtooth Whale. Dolphins can also be seen, which include the hourglass dolphin and the southern rightwhale dolphin. Whales and dolphins are almost the same and they differ only in size. Everything smaller than 4 meters is considered a dolphin.

Other than various species of whales, various species of fish and birds can be found in the continent. These species of fish include Antarctic cod, ice fish, dragon fish, crocodile fish, rat-tailed fish, robber fish, hagfish, and skates. The birds, on the other hand, include penguins and albatrosses. Deciding Where to Go on Your European Cruise

One of the most difficult parts of planning your cruise vacation is deciding where to go in Europe. Europe may not be a larger continent then Asia but Europe has more to offer you with their beautiful sites and scenes.

If you are a fan of sunbathing then you will love to see the sandy beaches and the blue sea in Europe. However, Europe has plenty to offer you than the Arctic cruise packages where you can travel to Russia and Greenland. When you go to the Northern Europe you will see plenty of people and they have commented that this place is magical. They have also said that the cruises are majestic. I know I am not making your decision any easier by telling you how wonderful and enjoyable these places are but what can I say? I have been around Europe and also to the Northern Europe, Greenland and the UK but also to Southern Europe where my loved one enjoys it the most.

Now I will try to make your decision easier. I am going to split the cruises up so you can choose for yourselves where you would rather go.

1) Northern Europe - If you are with your couple or friends who love trying something different. And who loves the cool weather, and then this is the perfect holiday for you. Make sure to check out which ports you will stop at. You will need pack correctly and make sure to enough warm clothes with you, but you won't need them on the cruise ship.

2) Southern Europe - This is perfect for anyone and by far the most popular destinations that people go on. This is perfect for families, friends and couples on there honeymoon!
